National University of Singapore

NUS traces its origins to the Straits Settlements medical school of 1905, and today is Singapore's large comprehensive research university. Undergraduate teaching is mainly in English. The main campus is at Kent Ridge, and Bukit Timah, Outram and other campuses carry some faculties. Engineering, computing, science, business, law and medicine each have their own faculty, and the application is not one form.

Electrical engineering sits in the College of Design and Engineering, a four-year Bachelor of Engineering, with circuits, signals and electromagnetics at the core and matching prerequisites required. In the School of Computing, computer science, information security and business analytics are different programmes. Terms are short and courses dense, and GPA counts from the first semester. Switching into computing or business must be considered separately under prerequisites and faculty rules; the university's name cannot fill the gap.

The radius of the Singapore route is clear: study, internship and employment often revolve in the same city. The cost is a high density of competition. For those whose science and engineering route is clear and who care more about an engineering foundation and a large campus, NTU belongs on the same comparison table.
